To maximise the funds raised from the event, all of the work involved in organising and running the Barossa Airshow is undertaken solely by volunteers.
The Rotary Club of Barossa Valley will provide the overall management of the event and assume responsibility for arranging and supervising the land based attractions.
However, there is scope for other clubs and organisations to assist and, in doing so, enable their clubs to raise their profile in the community and possibly participate in the distribution of funds.
Extra volunteers will be needed to help set up and clean up on the 15th and 17th of April, and others will be needed as additional ground crew on the day.
The Airshow Management Committee has been working hard to bring the 2023 event to fruition since April 2022. Developing a crew of volunteers will be crucial to its success.
